The Mercury Prize is the UK’s most prestigious music award, bringing together a huge mix of music genres and associated audiences. We celebrate each artist and their work across a three month long campaign with two significant live moments: the Shortlist announcement and the main event. Our focus is beautifully crafted work and a brand identity that mirrors the albums we are covering. We work with influencers and creators to shine a light on each record and deliver full event coverage across every social channel.
We create banks of content for use across the campaign, made up of artist interviews and deep-dives into the record.
On the night itself, we cover every inch of the Apollo in London with photography, social coverage and red carpet interviews. As soon as the winner is announced, we follow them from podium to press appointment to get followers the first look at how it feels to win the Mercury Prize.
For 2023’s show, we commissioned bespoke 360 collages of the Shortlist with @aliceisaac_studio that were used to build buzz across social. Physical versions of each work were also gifted to the featured artists.
